Burlap is Best

Today was Jaxson's FIRST birthday party! So, later this week I will fill you all in on some of the fun and easy projects I did for the party.  It seemed to be a hit and even though he might not remember it; I know he felt very special and loved today. Thank you to all the friends and family that came out to celebrate his first year of life!

On to today's quick and easy project...

Here is what you need:
  • Burlap (I wish I could remember where we got it! We went so many places this week, but I know it was $14... I know that sounds pricey, but I promise more fun and easy projects in the future. So, it will not go to waste.)
  • Pull out the good ol' Spray Adhesive again
  • Any clear candle holders sitting around your house
  • Scissors
Lay your candle down on the edge of the burlap. Cut along the top edge of the candle. Roll the candle to see how much burlap you will need.

You should have a rectangle. Spray several layers of the adhesive.

Roll the candle, pressing the burlap onto the glass.
Trim the edges...

Oh I just love mini makeovers to give something a fresh look!

~Happy Relaxing~

On a side note... the adhesive can obviously get really sticky... just a hint to get it off some surfaces and especially your fingers, use rubbing alcohol and it should take it right off.
